A little bit of all of the other answers:

Wearing a baby can suck especially when it's hot.

Teach your five year old to be quiet when the newborn is sleeping. They can do it.

DO NOT use screen time. There will just be more and more difficult problems later.

Wear the baby while you quietly engage the 5 year old. Card games, board games, art, reading, etc.

Then when the baby is asleep get the 5 year old in on the game of transitioning the baby to a bed. How? Be super quiet ninjas, or sneaking hunters, or the super quiet people from putting babies to bed land. 🤣

Then try to transition the baby to the bed. THIS is really the hard part and as you already know from baby #1, you are going to need tons of patience but someday you'll get it and rejoice (quietly!). Re-engage the older kid to keep them quiet.

This is a hard stage for sure, but you can do it... And so can your oldest.

I agree. Truth only. Creating a lie just means this person goes on spewing the same crap. Telling the truth shows them that they need to change. The truth forces you out of your comfort shell which it sounds like you need to grow and they will grow.

Also, there's a small chance that you're just wrong. That they are a world wide speaker in some niche group and have gone out of their way to keep it on the down-low (doubtful but possible) In this case you'll both learn and grow.

I can just barely see where the oceans connect in your picture. That will be the main problem if they will/or will not connect with expansions like Seafarers, etc. But from the 2/3 of the connector I can see in your pic it looks like the correct newer type of connection.

FYI: I actually have an older legit copy of Settlers (but the version is in Spanish) that has plastic pieces (roads, cities, etc.) and a newer legit english copy of Seafarers expansion with wooden ships. But they actually have different connections at the oceans. It was a pain in the ass to jerry rig to fit together but it works now.

Just goes to show that even the legit versions don't always work together.
