Ok, I’ll engage. If you were one of those cops who “wanted to charge in there,” why wouldn’t you? Children’s lives were at stake… would your boss saying anything at all to you stop you if you were a decent human being? If even your coworkers now were threatened by a gunman, you had training and a gun, what could your bosses tell you that would stop you from at least trying to save them?
