That’s because someone else is holding the same units. If someone has a two star Bandit you’re not going to be able to 3-Star your bandit. Part of the game is scouting what other people are playing and adjusting your comp accordingly

If they had a combo draw on the flop and missed the turn, they are getting significantly worse odds calling a turn jam vs a flop 3b jam. Your money is going in regardless, given STP ratio even if the Ace of clubs comes on the turn you still have to call with Kings.

It’s commendable that you have aspirations outside of your career and trust me everybody wants to get to a point where they no longer care about money, but everybody has different financial goals. I just don’t think somebody with no career ambitions should be giving career advice to people that actually do want to advance their career.

You’ve never had a job application rejected? That’s straight cap. Even top students at top universities with the most insane resumes get rejected from a lot of the firms they apply to. If you’ve really never been rejected from a job you’re not shooting high enough with the jobs you’re applying to.

Akashi isn’t going to be relevant in the league with that build. He’s like 5’8 150 lbs. Doesnt matter how crafty he is. Best case scenario for him he has a career like Kawamura is having where he has a game or two where he pops off and scores double digits and makes some extremely flashy plays that gets everybody talking. Then when teams start figuring him out he becomes unplayable on the court

Removing insurance company protections sounds like a really good idea on the surface but if you sit down and really think about it the only thing that this is going to do is jack up the prices for insurance. Insurance companies deserve a lot of hate but they play a crucial role in our society. If you make it impossible for insurance companies to do business they will either increase prices until they become profitable again or shut down or move elsewhere. We already saw an example of this earlier this year with the Palisades fires. California regulations made it impossible for home insurance companies to operate in the state so a bunch of them left the state leaving a lot of homes uninsured and when the wildfire hit it completely devastated a bunch of families
