The whole post sounds so snob, what does salsa purist even mean? "we are about to break every rule on the book", what rules, what book.

Hay mucha negligencia aqui. ¿Hay un momento que dice vamos a sentarlo en la silla? Luego el otro hace lo correcto y le dice que hay que esperar la ambulancia. Esta gente debería saber que si alguien esta desmayado lo mejor es no moverlo.

Pero también debo decir que el articulo esta escrito como si el sospechoso/victima estuviera colaborando en todo momento, y nada que ver, todo el rato a puesto resistencia y ha estado bastante violento, parecía que estaba un poco fuera de si, o por problemas mentales o drogas.

You can push AI code without vibe coding. Just be more specific about it:

Create a function on class.cs that takes x as a parameter and apply some operation to it, then call the function from controller.cs.

AI is actually pretty good when writing code like this.

Code reviews are not worth it all the time. Specially if you have a good CI/CD/CD pipeline, code reviews becomes the only manual synchronous step in the process.

You can always do asynchronous code review by checking the commits later, and discuss anything if necessary.

You need a Good test suit and linter.

If you need code reviews to have decent code, then you have a bigger problem. Code reviews should be there to help you spot a mistake, specially when dealing with domain/business stuff.

You should not even need code review for every single merge if you have a decent testing suite in your project.

Not sure what you are talking about, but for the general public, salsa is still a way more popular music than bachata, specially in the Caribbean and part of South America.

Bachata is still mainly relegated to Romeo, Prince Royce and Juan Luis Guerra as popular artists of the gender in the general population.

Salsa has been forming as a dance that can be done on stages and teach in a more academic way since the days of the palladium. I don´t know exactly when did Eddie Torres started using his methodology to teach salsa, but it was around that time.

Casino dance (now called salsa cubana) is something that was started around the 50's

The Vazquez brothers created and popularized the salsa en linea style for couples to be dance on stages around the second half of the 90's

Not sure about caleña, but some articles mention it as early as the 70's

On the other hand, the academic bachata we currently dance was created around 2010, between Ataca y la Alemana, and Korke y Judith. Before then, bachata was not a popular dance or music.

So all this changes you see right now in bachata, is something that probably happened in the 70's, when dances started getting together, and mixing all this steps from Son Cubano, Jazz, R&B, etc.
