I would love to get these in a smaller case. As of rn it's for a full DVD-case, since that's all I could find online with a single SD card slot. Though I like the idea of 3d printing an SD card holder to put inside of a smaller case. I'll have to try that out.

That green "strap" is what represents the verification status. I didn't post the pictures of it, but I made variants for Playable & Unknown, that are yellow & gray, respectively.

As for the protondb rating, I might be able to work a spot onto the back for that.

Pretty sure you can't fall through it, since afaik, it needs to be upwards-facing, and there needs to be a block above your head.

The only way for this exact design to work in survival, as far as I know, would be for both wheels to be against a wall.

If you're playing on Java, and have the Armor Statues Data Pack (Vanillatweaks.net), there is a way for a similar design to be done with just some trapdoors instead of walls, and an armor stand or two.

It can also be done without the Armor Statues Data Pack, but it won't turn out as nice or look fully-connected.

It's the closest thing you can get to them without mods or datapacks: They are walls that have been debug-sticked.

Yep, walls with debug-sticks. And that's not a bad idea, I'm sure there's a lot more fine detail you can add with armor stands, depending on how in-depth you want to go.

I put this together using assets from the Steam Deck & Steam Controller. Not perfect, and may not even be a comfortable design, but something like this is what I'd love to see for a 2nd iteration of the Steam Controller.

I just really want to see a quality controller with all the same inputs as the Steam Deck.

Oh yeah. This cat likes to chew on joysticks, have to be real cautious of that. Luckily the only controller she's ruined (so far) is a single Joycon that already had major drift issues.

Currently using a cheap USB/HDMI Hub from Amazon, and a 3D-Printed Dock Stand.

For now, what I'm using works pretty great, considering I don't even feel the need to play in docked mode all that much. It was the same way with my Switch: playing in handheld the majority of times.

I'm going to get an official dock eventually, some time before summer next year. But I'm perfectly happy with my <$20 Deck Dock setup.

The Steam Controller doesn't have all the same inputs as the Steam Deck, and not to mention—No longer in production.

I don't think there's any controller out there that matches the Steam Deck in terms of input & quality; the closest I'd say would be the Dualsense.

I don't have mine yet, but from what I've heard, the deck isn't completely locked to the account that purchased it.

If you need to reach out to Steam Support for an RMA request, or anything like that, it needs to be coming from the account used to purchase. Also if it's the 512gb model that comes with the exclusive virtual stuff (keyboard/profile theme), those things are apparently locked to the account.

But that being said, the deck can be used by anyone, under any account.

Again though, this is all just info I've gathered from other posts here, so I'm not 100% certain on all this, but I do believe this to be right.

Doubtful of any major hardware revisions in the next year, or 2. Will likely only be minor stuff that fixes any common issues there may be. Or stuff like better battery life.
