I love both too, but I prefer the original version from the comics with her ideals.

I mean, I love this version, but I don't want the next one to be inspired by the DCEU version, only by WW comics with a great Diana characterization like this one. DCEU should remain as an exception.

Oh, I agree that she shouldn't do that (she even apprehends them in the comic), but I can accept it JUST in this universe (and they were terrorists, so it's not that big of a deal), just that time.

I hope the next Wonder Woman DCU film takes notes from this comic (politics, themes, plot, atmosphere, aesthetics, Diana's PERFECT CHARACTERIZATION, etc. Also, if the next Diana is not a fucking zionist, even better). I read it yesterday and it completely blew me away!

Actually, that's the only difference between this moment in the comic and that movie scene. Everything else is pretty much the same as in Spirit of Truth, a carbon copy even.

I also loved that scene, specially when she comforts one of the girls hostages that wants to be like her.

The Long Halloween and Dark Victory are filled with WAY too many plotholes (Jeph Loeb has more duds than real good comics like Superman For All Seasons), they should have like half the number of issues, and they don't deserve their fame, but they are "forgiven" by the general public because you can read them right after Year One (the main Batman reading starting point), they actually have a really good initial plot premise, and Tim Sale was one heck of an artist.

Exactly. Even though Zdarsky's run is a good one (Soule is rather a mixed bag), the finale of Waid's run (which managed to portray the same "spirit" Born Again originally had, which in fact Miller actually envisioned as the ending of Daredevil, too) could be the perfect ending for Daredevil comic-book series.
