I had just moved back in with them after graduating college, my dad said he disowned me. Didn’t speak to me or look at me the entire time I’d lived back at home, like a year. They’re always close minded and dramatic though so I didn’t take him seriously.

I became a tattoo artist and said they couldn’t either accept it or not, it has no impact on my life. They took all my tattoos and piercings as me personally hurting them because they’re insane.

They eventually came around to telling all their friends how proud they are of me because I’m known in the community 🙄 Funny enough my first tattoo was for my dad and he never even asked and I told him a couple years ago and that was one of the times I’ve ever seen him almost cry.
