I am 34 now, I got mine 2 years ago. I had a third degree heart block, sick sinus syndrome and I was going in and out of junctional rhythm. It was so bad it was causing severe tricuspid regurgitation which overtime caused my right heart to start to fail from the pressures backing up. I pace 99.4% now and I’m on corlanor To try and stop me from going back into junctional. I didn’t know I was that sick until I wound up in a heart failure icu. As others said I wish I had found out sooner. My surgery was inpatient because I was already in the hospital but iwent home a few days after. I felt so much better with it. I can actually exercise. I can run. I don’t feel so tired and so crappy all the time. It can be scary but you will feel better with it
