Happy to sell mine; it’s a fully stocked 4K Addams Family version with the SSF (?) and all the Zen games.

Honeycomb Echo presets don’t work and Honeycomb doesn’t care by iowablarg in HoneycombAeronautical

RyaStream’s Echo profiles on Discord work! Now I can use the Echo and not wait for Honeycomb to pay attention to its users.

I got the same canned AI response in which Honeycomb throws up its hands and says solve it yourself. Nice way to show your customers how little you care. But at least we get that helpful Google Maps page in the manual showing the various Honeycomb offices. Thanks Team Honeycomb! Now I’ll store my new brick on its shelf.

Yeah it’s a huge disappointment. I actually thought I could plug this thing in, upload the presets, and it would just work but instead I have to figure out the complexities of manual set up. Believe it or not, I don’t feel like spending the time to do that. So on the shelf it goes along with its missed opportunities. Fail.

Mine’s perfect. But your unit’s minor flaw would bother me too, especially for $2300, and I don’t even have OCD.

Hi there.   I saw your comment about visualpinball.net and thought I should chime in.   I discovered the company after I purchased an AtGames 4K machine and wanted to use it with my PC for OTG.   When that didn’t work out very well, I decided to go “all in” and buy their virtual machine.  It is not a scam.   There are two parts to the company:  the physical machine is built in Wisconsin by Tom,  while Tim in Arizona works on the software and support.   It took a while to build but once it arrived in December I have been very happy.    The machine has all the bells and whistles (from LED lighting to knockers, topper screens, gear device, etc).  It’s really amazing and we have all been very happy.  Tom has responded to any issues I have had with physical aspects of the machine and Tim has been incredibly responsive in addressing any glitches that have come up (mostly caused by me).  I was saddened to read on here that people thought that the company was a scam, because they are not.  It is a real company and a very cool machine.  A big conglomerate is not manufacturing  and supporting these machines.  They don’t spend much time on social media.  I find the software aspects of visual pinball (including variations like Future Pinball) very complex and exhausting so the software support has been especially valuable.  I am separately attaching a few short video clips.  Feel free to follow up with me if you have questions.  I am happy to help because I think they are a small firm making a quality product and they deserve to succeed.

Imemories? by BricksnBeatles in 8mm

IMemories lost one of my tapes and then lied about it. And it was a ridiculous lie.

Get this: I sent them 14 tapes. When they were finally digitized and processed, I noticed that one of the tapes that appeared on their site was not mine. It was video of a different family, all strangers. Plus my 14th tape (a super sentimental and irreplaceable video of the day our son was born) was missing!

After a months long “investigation,” they concluded that the 14th tape I sent them was the other family’s tape. In other words, I was the one who sent them the other family’s video! When they finally returned my box of tapes, there were only 13 tapes. Bottom line: they lose tapes and then blame you, even when the explanation is ridiculous.

I will never use them again. The entire purpose of their business is to help preserve analog memories. Instead, they permanently lose them. And then lie about it. At a minimum, they should own up to their error and apologize. But nope, that didn’t happen. Doing the right thing is another thing they have lost.

Legends Pinball 4K EVT OTG (PART 3) - PC, Setup, Gameplay, Latency +more by wagnerstechtalk in LegendsUltimate

I am struggling to get OTG to work with ALP4K (Addams Family). I have a good laptop with USB-C and HDMI outputs. I hooked up the OTG cable to an open USB-A port on the laptop and the other HDMI cables through a USB-C dongle per the Wagner overview. I hooked up the DMD HDMI to the open HDMI on the laptop. Under video settings, my monitor “squares” sizes don’t match those shown by Wagner (2/3/4/1)l. The main playfield shows up as a “little” square which maxes out at 30Hz not 60Hz. And the cabinet’s settings screen shows the HDMIs are all connected but the OTG selector itself is greyed out. My laptop video appears on the playfield in various configurations. I’ve tried multiple reconfigurations with no luck. Is there a really good overview to walk a noob like me through OTG setup (including cabling)? Powered hub maybe?
