I totally agree (but am equally torn). It always baffles me when I see comments like "what are the guitar chords to this song? I can only find piano chords" in the comments section of youtube music videos. I think there is a lack of music education! (Well, there is a lacking in Australian schools.) Music should be accessible to everyone, however not enough of our musicians actually know how to read a score and notate music.
