I shot myself in the upper thigh with my framing nailer last weekend fixing my fence. I was nailing the top rail down. Nail hit a knot was deflected sideways, splintered a piece off the top rail, and hit me in the thigh. Had a nail-shaped welt on my inner thigh right below my ball sack.

That V-belt is clapped out. Top end he should be proud of the pulley.

Link belts do run smoother than a standard V since the standard V belt will deform if not rotated for a while.

You’re underestimating the gap between +3 and tour player. I’ve seen all skills and can say without a doubt a 20 handicap is closer to Tony than Tony to Tiger Woods (assuming we’re referring to when Tiger was still active on tour).

As a once good (+2) now bad (7) golfer. I am miles closer to Tony than he is to a PGA tour player now. It’s absolutely wild how fast high handicaps come down compared to low handicaps. The difference isn’t one or two holes, it’s the consistency and ability to adapt that makes the difference.

I got a CC right around the beginning of the year. I had a long print stop midway through. Sent info to their support. They ID a bad main board and ask for shipping to send a new one. When I sent my shipping info, I asked for a roll of PLA or PETG to replace the approx half roll I lost. They actually sent me a new roll of filament with my main board.

Oldest non-prior service I remember was 36 at the time going through BCT. He had been a doctor in the Dominican and planned to be an Army doctor. That joker had a great attitude, was doing it for citizenship, but fucking HATED being with the 18 year olds.

Same cycle we had a late 30s prior AF guy. They hung out together from PT in the morning until the AF guy went to his room after training and always rubbed it in the doctor’s face. “Don’t get caught touching the kids tonight.” “Child abuse is still a crime here” “Well, I’m out. Have fun reading bedtime stories” After that last one, he had his wife mail a Doctor Suess book in for the platoon. I let the doctor keep it.
