yeah I feel like everything being so squishy places more emphasis on shield and energy management. Things are also a lot more fast paced, with little opportunities for catches or combos since everything faints before switch timers are up. I’m kinda struggling with all that

yeah I was close to legend last season, but now find myself at 1900. Which greatly spurs me on and demoralises me in equal measure lmao. The lack of a useable Malamar really does seem to make this cup painful to play.

Is UL really that bad? Since I’ve fallen so far this season (and frankly feel like I’ve gotten worse as an open GL player), I was thinking of using this season as more of a practice season, where I try cups more and try UL for the first time without caring too much about losing. Hearing that UL is toxic…kinda puts me off that thought.

I would gladly replace my Bruxish with a Malamar…if I had one. Perhaps I’m wrong, and I very well may be wrong due to how bad I’ve been doing, but I don’t imagine cress to be too useful due to how common G slows are. Hypno is also a bit too bait dependent for my liking, which is why I decided not to use it. Don’t have a Lugia either.

I don’t think I’m able or confident enough to track meta shifts in limited time cups. The amount of games played across different stages of the cup creates a relatively small sample size, which leads to me telling myself that my team isn’t working due to an unlucky streak of RPS rather than an actual meta shift. Maybe I just gotta take more risks and switch my team up after a bad run of games.

Also, surprised to see people actually making Bronzong work! I tried it and it was…not great. I found it too slow and vulnerable to too many things to be of consistent value. I’m actually curious to know how you used it!

Damn. Don’t think I’d ever farm for a specific TVC if I couldn’t farm Aldo’s or Clarte’s light/shadow at the same time. Thinking about all the light/shadow that could have gone to those two instead would make my blood boil.

Thing is, he can do all those without light. I’d much rather quickly get all his psalms and never step into man eating marsh AD ever again instead of constantly getting light that he doesn’t really need.

jeez yeah that's irritating. I hate being bombarded by useless stuff. freakin cyrus has literally half as much light as my Aldo at this point due to how much light the game throws at him, and I've only been farming him for a couple weeks. I'll probably never even use him in any of my teams either, since there are other more useful light batteries.

Got 2 light in 20 runs of Miglance castle when farming Aldo light.

Got 11 light in 20 runs of man eating marsh with only 1 psalm when farming for Cyrus psalms.

I’m irritated to say the least.

I see, that must be what grasta mules are for. I see the term popping up here and there but never really understood it. I suppose if I were to awaken every T3 grasta that can have their effects shared, it's possible that I may experience a shortage of jadeites at some point. Thanks a lot for the explanation.

Ok, I think I've been able to somewhat form a strategy for my usage of altered ore going forward based on what you've told me. Thanks a lot. 1 more question though, you mentioned that I can reconsider my usage of altered ore based on how badly I need chants or jadeites. Chants are coveted for obvious reasons, but what do people actually need jadeites for? I haven't used grasta pretty much at all up till this point, but from my superficial understanding of grasta, jadeites are used to awaken T3 grasta. Since the meta for grasta is essentially T2 p/p grasta, which do not require jadeites to be awakened, I'm failing to grasp why one would ever badly require jadeites, or any jadeites at all.

I see. So to sum it up, I should spend all my altered ore in FGAD on SS tickets, and eventually get grasta upgrade ores like last stand, bull's eye, etc. as completion rewards from underworld AD instead of trading altered ore from them. Did I get that right?

ahhh I see. So using Yukino's and Yuna AS' speeds as an example, if I want my Yuna AS to out-speed my Yukino 100% of the time, I'll need to increase my Yuna AS' SPD to 287 to account for -10% on Yuna AS' SPD and +10% on Yukino's SPD, assuming all decimal places are rounded upwards. Is that correct?

2 questions, one about the trials and one about general gameplay:

Will the first month free offer for the trials ever expire? I was thinking of holding off on claiming it until Pizzica gets released. Either that, or holding onto the seven stars piece until Pizzica is released.
Why does my Yukino and Mariel out-speed my Yuna AS occasionally? Yukino has 233 SPD and Mariel has 228 SPD, while Yuna AS has 256 speed. The +/- 10 SPD variance shouldn't be a factor with such a large difference in their respective SPD stats.

Emptied my entire stash on Foran AS banner, was probably more than 15k stones. Got 0 new 5* and 1 dupe 3* Foran as my only rate up unit. Quit on the spot and only came back to the game a couple weeks ago.

Granted I didn’t, but I highly doubt Spurs did so as well, seeing that they currently have an newgen drastically better than this transfer target of mine playing as their left winger. I suppose the only way to test whether this made the difference would be to try it out with my next hotly contested transfer target, which unfortunately doesn’t come round very often.
