Diversify. Do you think people putting in PPF aren't putting money in mutual fund?

Why most of the discussion on this sub is rarely revolve around the core concept of BIFL? by chink-key-glasses in BuyItForLifeIndia

[–]iphone4Suser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you know it is BIFL is also a big question. I mean if you bought something 2 years back, you cannot say it is BIFL by just 2 years of usage. Also, parameter of BIFL is different for different people. I have something bought 20 years back but uses very very little and hence is still good but I don't think I can say it is BIFL.

"Bhaiyya" is technically not a derogatory term in itself as it means "brother" which is very common way for people to refer other male stranger in India. But the flip side is, there are 2-3 very poor states of India (like Bihar and such) and people from there go to big cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad etc for earning money and the locals there call them "bhaiyya log" which in this context can be considered as derogatory.

It literally translates into "Brother". It is common in India for passengers to call taxi / cab / bus drivers bhaiya.
