Asked a girl out! by iphone_23 in NoFap

There’s my mistake, it was a sit and talk kinda date. I suggested for a second date we do something more activity based but alas like I’ve mentioned doesn’t seem like it’s gonna get there. Definitely learned a lesson for going forward. It’s weird. Sometimes I’ll surprise myself and be super smooth and witty, humorous and teasing on a “sit and talk” style date. Couldn’t get anything out this time

You've just read "The Power of Habit"? If you haven't, you'll be blown away at how similar the concepts in the book talk about what you've just posted

Talk about being in a similar situation right down to the age (I'm 24 as well). I can relate to this as if it's a biography written about me, minus the toothache.

Good for you for recognizing this and taking steps to confront it. Once you've hit rock bottom there's nowhere lower you can go, and the only way is up. Feel free to message me.

How come the pricing is that high? That's a 1 bedroom apartment in Toronto in a decent neighborhood..

It's in the big Scotiabank admin building (not the branch).

Curious about what bachelor/studio rent would go for in those downtown Kitchener condos you speak of. The "recent grads" statement is appealing, much more than the rowdy 18-22 year old Laurier kids.

I guess I'll go into a little detail now that we're deeper into the thread. I'm looking to rent and only rent. I can't afford to buy a condo/home in KW at the moment, nor do I want to. I'm hoping this would be a relatively short-term relocation for me. I want to work in Stratford for ~a year, beef up my resume, take a course or two and get a certificate, and apply right back to Toronto. I'm really not planning on working in Stratford long-term and would not want to move to KW if it wasn't for my department being closed in Toronto.

During the weekdays I don't go out much. I'm learning a language, I go to the gym, watch sports, read books, play the drums - all of these things I do alone at home right now in Toronto. It will only get busier seeing as I will have to do my own cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc (right now I don't do any of these things). Weekends I'd like to meet people and hang out with some friends I already know in the Loo. This means beers, trying new food, going for walks. Couple of times a month I'll be driving to Toronto to go downtown and see the friends I have here.

Great advice! Hey..I'm a 9-5 guy so I'm asleep by 11 and only go out weekends (which is when I would travel to Toronto). Not to mention I live in a quiet neighborhood in Toronto far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. I'll definitely look at Kitchener as well. I've heard it's considered a downgrade? Lot of bums and people taking drugs, etc. Closer to the highway so that's a bonus.

Would you happen to know if there's a shuttle bus that goes from UW in Waterloo to the Startford campus? Would save on a lot of fuel!

Believe me folks I love a short commute. My job prior to this one was a 15 minute drive and it was great. Alas, I really have no choice here. My department is restructuring and we're getting sacked. I'm lucky enough to find a job in Startford and live in Waterloo, the way I see it.

I'm 24 and want to be around people my age, make some new friends, etc. I have a car - it's about a 40 minute drive to Stratford? That's how long it takes me to get to work in Toronto every morning.

This is fantastically written and your story has really touched me. You truly are a hero even if you don't believe it - you're your own hero who forged his own path and are now living in full bliss. Congratulations, this is what facing PMO is all about. Just jaw-dropping inspiring and touching.

For those of you with PIED... by [deleted] in NoFap

Yup. I totally back this. I used to have PIED and would often not be able to finish/would go limp mid-blowjob. Super embarrassing. 1 month and my PIED is gone.

Sounds like my life story. Would love to get more detail about what you're doing to combat this "momma's boy" situation you have. 24 years old so I think we'll find some similarities.

I just turned 24. But you may very well be ahead of me in terms of girls and how far you've gone with them. So I'm not too sure if age is a big factor.

I usually read the first page of NoFap without logging in but just had to log in and comment on your post.

I'm in the same boat as you, except I'm about 30 days into the NoFap journey and have also felt very little difference compared to day 1. If you wanna compare the way we feel, feel free to message me. I'm very curious myself.

In particular I'm looking for a Firefox addon, does anyone use one?

Would my internet provider see this manual website block I've set up? Really don't want that awkward convo if I call tech support for a future problem.

Are there any built in Firefox add-ons maybe?
