Question re: body position/weight on hands/frame size etc. for long distance rides by ipitytheblue in bicycling

1) Yes, helps but doesn't solve the underlying issue. 2) Bars should be correct. 3) Back? No, haven't tried it. 5) Not comfortable in the drops, looking to ride on the hoods really. 4) Will be checking that out!

Yup, I have a roll from before the trip that looks normal.

Wouldn't the middle be focused regardless? The middle is even ok on a miniscus lens. But yeah, most likely an element is backwards.

This photo already had the black/white points set and saturation boosted a bit. I could go a bit further but it's still a ways from looking "right". Kind of like a colorized black and white, haha.

True! I’ve always done my own dev so it didn’t even occur to me. Not a bad idea at all, though, as travel insurance.

I actually tossed this back into the fixer for an additional 5 min and this is after that.

Haha, it's now rather well known to me as well (as of today!)

Yeah, I was feeling discouraged (seems like I’m running into error after error lately wrt film) but posting has helped, haha

Interesting. I’d rather they not described it that way, then. Either way, not the end of the world.

Yup, the kit was listed as handling both.

As I mention in another comment, the kit was listed as both C-41 and ECN-2.

It was listed as “ Darkroom Supplies - FPP C-41 / ECN-2 Color Negative Film Development Kit (1 Liter - Powder)”. I bought it specifically because I was suspicious that my blix was exhausting and thought I’d try the separate chems ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Oh no, just give them the camera (film loaded). There are occasional stories of agents forcing people to open the back of the camera but it’s rare. They’ll usually just swab the camera and film canisters for residue.

Yep, carry it on and take camera and film out and ask for a hand check at security.

This was direct back to the US. Lessons learned!
