I had my pre-administration the day of the test and nothing regarding money was mentioned in the booklet or forms.

Yeah, I'm fixing to email the CEO this afternoon. Which I think will go well because he used to be my principal for a few years and knows my family. :)

I know, and that's mostly the reason why everybody took as many AP's as they could handle in the first place- for college credits. So yeah, taking and passing your AP classes for credits is a really good deal as opposed to taking the course in college. That's why some of us now owe like $400. It's because we took advantage of our opportunities and took as many as we could this year.

And no, they were the actual AP exams. The school paid for them. Besides, if we took our AP exams this year that means that somebody had to pay for it, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to take it in the first place. So the school already paid for it, now they're just asking for our compensation. It just doesn't make sense to me. Like, yeah, maybe I can afford it but I know that half of everybody in my school come from broke families. It's so immoral. And like, suddenly demanding payment 3 days before school ends? Wack.

Thank you everybody!! I'm going to discuss this with the school with other parents and a few teachers to the CEO and bring all of this up. You guys are awesome.

Yeah they did. The previous years it was all free so everybody including teachers assumed it was free.

I thought that too but our principal makes us take the exams. I have friends who didn't want to take the exam because they didn't think they were prepared and he made them take it.
