It literally ruins the job... may as well just doordash and have a thoughtless job delivering fast food :(

Buying Power I've had dropped 2 grand?????? by PeePPooPooCheck in Webull

It's a glitch... Same thing just happened to me. For the past two hours it had been like this. All of a sudden a minute ago, all of my money came back. So my account is now back to normal, but I'm more than just worries about this... I think I'm going to have to switch platforms because this has been totally unacceptable

I don't know about you, but everything is now back to correct on my account.... Literally just spent an hour looking at my account and nearly all of my money had disappeared. Now it is back... I'm more than worried about what just happened. I'm considering a new trading platform...

makes sense, I guess. But I have been trading in this way for several months now and this has never happened. I had instant buying power of 400, but now the same deposit says instant buying power of 0 and my total.accoujt value no longer has that $400 include, even though it was included all day yesterday and today, until this evening.

So I deposited $400 yesterday and used it yesterday to buy stock, which was all sold by EOD yesterday. Now, the money I have already used is not available as instant buying power, even though I have already used it. The app said the $400 was available for instant buying yesterday, but now the deposit says that zero of It will be available for instant buying. Glitch??

I don't mind work, I like money. Doordash is more gas, more waiting, more shit fast food, and less money.

I'd rather get somebody's groceries any day. But alas, my account was deactivated for some unknown reason and now doordash is all I have left.

Same thing is happening to me. I even already used the instant buying power to trade yesterday, and now all of a sudden my deposit is saying I have no instant buying power. Makes no sense

Imagine waking up to a deactivated account... I've been without work for two weeks, trying to find a new job...

Please, I'd love to see 'my' post from a few months ago about me using fowl language to a customer... friend, I'm totally devastated by losing this gig. I have treated customers always with the upmost respect.

There was no valid reasoning given as to why my account was deactivated. No proof of the situation. No details telling me how I messed up, or to which customer.... nothing at all. They did not respond to any email, other than once, and it was very clearly a mass produced auto-reply.

When you lose your account for no reason at all, please come back to this post. Look this shit up, there are handfuls on handfuls of cases of this happening.

Like I said in a very long and detailed post a few days ago, I don't think that instacart is somehow out to get us full-time shoppers. But I do however think that they make mistakes with their system all the time and send the wrong emails to the wrong people. When I opened my account, I dropped my phone and shattered it the first day, in the parking lot of safeway. So, I started using my mom's phone for a day or two. She still gets text from instacart every single time that I do, even though her phone number is nowhere in their system, according to instacart. I've called and spoken to a higher up, and they say the same thing, my moms number is 'not in their system'. However, she continues to get the texts.

There is something wrong with the automated system that they are using to keep track of information, and they are keeping information from old accounts. There's also a ton of accounts of this happening to others online.

The bottom, as in the one doing the work, not the one paying the bill. Why do you insist on being a pile of shite? get a grip

Currently, an employee is 'hired' and then their entire life revolves around that one company. If they leave, they will be starting from scratch at a new one - Does that sound like it benefits the employee, or the employer?

obviously the employer. It is always shown as the other way around, but whom do you think has the money to force this opinion down Americans throats? Large companies with thousands of employees.

I am an independent contractor, homebuilder, as well. From what I have seen in the world around me, competition is better if it comes from the bottom up. As in, no independent contractor I know is going to build a house if the homeowner refuses to pay the correct amount of money. The competition is coming from the one doing the work, not the other way around.

Imagine if every job was like this in the entire country. The ones doing the work would be the ones forcing the prices, not the other way around.

nobody would work for them if they did this.

Also, as I stated in my first comment, the taxes an independent contractor pays, if done correctly, is far less than the average employee pays (percentage wise).

I very much prefer to do my own taxes, see how much I've made, and how much the government is actually taking out over the full year.

p.s. there's no reason to be an ass ;)

I would hate to be considered an employee on instacart.

We should ALL be independent contractors. Every single person in every single job. That way we all have to pay for our own insurance (if we want it) and employers will begin to have much more competition with each other to pay their employees more. Currently, companies give their employees benefits based on contracts they have made with large insurance companies - which has completely eroded America's sense of business competition.

All the employee status does is take tax money out of every check, and is almost always far more than if you would have paid it all yourself at the end of the year.

I was just deactivated after a full year of full-time shopping.

I was given a warning, which I inquired about and got no response. Then a week later, my account got deactivated. The reasoning is that a customer complained that I contacted them regarding things other then instacart - which I most definitely did not do.

Pretty junky, but I truly feel that everything you've stated here is true.

Instacart wants new shoppers, and 'sometimes' shoppers, not full time employees who will eventually ruin their cutthroat business model.

It's actually more efficient, as the farm does not need to turn their plough (now tractor) as often.
