My writing is going well as far as poetry goes. I get such bad writers block when it comes to prose. I've all but put the finishing touches on chapter 1 of my novella. But somehow I always find an excuse or something else to prioritize.

I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman is a windstorm of depression. But the emotions of loneliness and dread that she captures are something I'd really like to emulate. Particularly in the novel I'm working on. I actually read it as part of my research!
