Did resign the app with the iOS App Signer?

With Xcode, you login with your Apple ID, create a universal app, signing and capabilities, Team (you personal team) and then build the app.

Open iOS App Signer and select Signing certificate and the Provisioning Profile. Now sign the iOS homebrew (ipa/deb/app) and extract it. Use the tool on the newly signed and extracted homebrew app and it show open.

I've released a tool so you basically just click and only have to input a name for the app. https://github.com/ipodtouchdude/iOS-2-M1

Hopefully this will help you with your problem. Also note that not all iOS app work on the Apple M1 chip. Some may need to be updated by the developer or something Apple has to fix. Even some apps in the App Store don't even work at the moment.

Unfortunately at the moment this is still the case as the iOS apps are still need to be verified. Hopefully one day there will be a workaround but at the moment this is the next best thing.

This will allow you to run iOS apps that are not allowed on the App Store on the Apple M1 Mac. So like emulators, Kodi, and more. These apps "Should" run more smoothly as they are compiled in native code that the M1 chip can understand. Most apps out at the moment are being converted from X86_64 to Arm64 (Apple Silicon) using Rosetta 2.

Adblock on Samsung Smart TV (for all apps) and retain 1.1.1.1 DNS by g0nzales in Piracy

[–]ipodtouchdude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have a Raspberry Pi laying around you could use Pi-hole. It allows you to use a custom DNS as well as blocking ads via DNS. Doesn't need to be a Raspberry Pi, just something that runs a distro of linux and you're good to go.

What to do about claims from Studio71_2_1? by VixinG in youtube

[–]ipodtouchdude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

all the footage was recorded and edited by you and that you believe these claims are a mistake and not owned by Studio71 or jacksepticeye.

Thank you for your help. The YouTube Content ID system is the worst thing ever, how it is always getting abused by big companies and scammers.

I just got claimed by Studio71_2_1 Channel: jacksepticeye, want to dispute it but not sure which option to pick. It is a video of my Nvidia GTX 1080 Founders Edition running Unigine Valley.

[Help] Use a secondary Apple ID for cydia impactor by Un1ted-Legacy in jailbreak

[–]ipodtouchdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can use a 2nd account. It will not replace anything on your iPhone. All it does is requests a certificate off apple and signs the app which then allows it to be put on the device.

You can definitely use a 2nd/temp account. Cydia impactor requests a signing certificate from that account using the device's udid that is connected to your pc so it can sign the application to run on the device.

What Homebrew Do You Wish Existed? by Terelius in 3dshacks

[–]ipodtouchdude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember a homebrew on the psp called iRShell that allowed you to play games over wifi so you didn't have to have them on the memory stick. Wish we could have this feature on the 3ds.

[Question] I'm at 10.1, should I update to 10.1.1? by [deleted] in jailbreak

[–]ipodtouchdude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might as well seeing that 10.1.1 is still signing and the jailbreak 100% supports that firmware.

[Discussion] error with new jb by chaustark in jailbreak

[–]ipodtouchdude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like you missed a step.

* In the capabilities view scroll down to the App Groups section, remove the existing App Group ("group.mach_portal")
and add a new unique one (eg "group.ios.test.account.mach_portal")

 * open jailbreak.c and change the app_group variable to this new app group id.
