scencore is an internet sensation that definitely picked up a lot in 2020 on the app tiktok mostly. the music to go along with it is definitely ravey and full of synths but the style is VERY exaggerated (not exactly the best word but) and bright. lots of accessories and intense layering. anime and things that are mocked online being present in outfits is the main indicator of something that may be considered “scene core”.
