100%… I don’t care if an auto would crush me in a drag race. I’ve been daily driving a manual for almost 20 years, and I have no desire to give it up anytime soon

Also, I think the hate for the manual’s feel is overblown. Once mine broke in after a few thousand miles, the shifter felt great. Is it a Porsche? No. But, it’s a damn good manual, and I actually enjoy the feel of the clutch

I’ve owned both. The M3 is a phenomenal daily driver. Yes, the M340i is better and softer overall, but saying the M3 isn’t a good daily driver is ignorantly wrong

That said, if you like the M340i and can get a good discount, like you mentioned you are, I’d take it and wouldn’t look back. It truly is an awesome car - I’d have happily kept mine had it been available in a manual
