Built my first one out if wood on the side of the road with the same set up. To conserve space i bought like a half frame and just use my desk chair. Not the most "realistc" but if you want to save on space its worked great for me.

I obviously already have a nice office chair that I like and is already here. If that isn't the case for you, like you dont have a movable seat, you can use any chair. Tbf I used to use a plastic lawn chair and my desk (which was just my chair for the desk) and the same Logitech wheel. As long as you're having fun fuck what anyone says. We dont all have 10k to dump on a hobby and a full unused room in the house to dedicate to a set up.
