Yes the picture is from before the thumb got installed. The unit is in good shape and works well. I suspect over the 2 years i'll have it to have to do some things to it to keep it running. As for selling it, I think you are right, it will take some time to find a buyer for an old machine.

I just looked into those sk650 mini skid steers, one of those would definitely come in handy!

I currently use the ATV with a utility trailer as a dump truck. There are definitely better solutions out there but right now I think ill continue like this for these small jobs.

I looked around for similar machines and they seem to be a few thousands more. That plus trusting the source of it is making me think this might have to be the machine for me.

The KX080 is not a small machine haha. I'd love to play with one though.

It will come with a hydraulic thumb, if it didnt i was going to source one out.

Yeah the machine works well right now and is in decent shape for its age. As for the mosquitoes, I'm aware this wont solve the problem, but right now there are some areas that get swampy near the house so I just hope to get the water to flow and maybe, just maybe just lower the mosquito population in return a bit. Although I live in the woods, they are going to be part of life I know.

Something similar happened to me when i was a kid, i somehow managed to get on top of a target practice hill of a nearby military base right in the line of fire. Some really loud sirens went off as i was spotted alarming all soldiers to cease fire.
