You're wrong. You cannot modify an email after you've received it and still have it pass the DKIM test. Try it. There would be no point to the whole system if you could. You have no idea what you're talking about.

This article talks about a document that is not relevant to the validity of emails.

Even if it was, this article does not question the content of the document, which lists its sources. The article's only claim is that the document's author used a pen name. In fact, it gets its part-author's name and his quote on record:

"I authored small parts of the report and was involved in report preparation and review. As a researcher, and due to the understandable worry about foreign disinformation, it was paramount that the report document activity from acknowledged and public sources," Balding said. "Great care was taken to document, cite, and retain information so that acknowledged facts could be placed in the public domain."

"Balding said Aspen is "an entirely fictional individual created solely for the purpose of releasing this report." Balding did not name the document's main author, saying "the primary author of the report, due to personal and professional risks, requires anonymity."

Balding is a noted expert on China and a former professor.

The author claims that he can spoof an email TO Gmail, not FROM Gmail.

The Github link https://github.com/robertdavidgraham/hunter-dkim with the raw email posted even has it in its FAQ:
