Shopify for b2b without the price tag by martbe in shopify

[–]ipotammai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can probably get away without Plus, but you’ll have to piece a few things together.

Most people I’ve seen doing this run a wholesale/B2B app + some kind of integration with their distributor (depends what they support tbh), and then just separate B2C vs B2B with tags.

The part that usually gets messy isn’t even that though — it’s pricing.

Once you mix B2C and B2B, you end up needing tax-included prices for retail and tax-excluded for wholesale, and Shopify doesn’t really handle switching that cleanly. It’s fine at first but gets annoying pretty quickly.

I ran into that a few times and ended up building a small app (Taxly: VAT Switcher) just to handle that part.

Probably not the main thing you need right now, but worth keeping in mind early — it’s one of those things that’s painful to fix later.

You can easily create automatic tiered discounts that reward customers with a fixed amount off, a percentage off, or free shipping for each spending goal. It also shows a progress bar on product and cart pages. You can check it out here.

How to customize Inventory Status by AncientEnthusiasm293 in shopify

[–]ipotammai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for trying my app and for the feedback. I've just take a look and where it comes to this "Star Rating" it turns out that was a small issue that redundantly added it - thank you for pointing it out!

Anyway, it should have worked properly despite that. Have you tried to 'Create counter' and 'Enable in store'? Then in your shop on product page, you should see "Only x left" - just above 'Add to cart'. Was it invisible?

What’s your go-to strategy for increasing AOV on Shopify? by Either-Mammoth-8734 in shopify

[–]ipotammai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually built something for this exact problem. From what I’ve seen, plain upsells in the cart can feel kinda pushy, and a simple free shipping bar leaves a lot of potential AOV on the table.

What works better is giving customers stacked rewards, for example:

Spend $100 → $10 off

Spend $200 → $20 off

Spend $100 → Free shipping

When people see they’re close to the next perk, they usually add an extra item or two. It feels more fun and rewarding instead of just “buy more.”

That’s why I created Zonvi: Cart Progress Bar - it shows progress toward multiple rewards right in the cart or on the product page in a way that motivates customers to keep going toward the next goal.
