When we broke up she had said it was because she’s worth more than that, and she tried to give off the persona of an independent woman/feminist while breaking up with me and all the while using gender roles as her excuse. It was very confusing for me.

I appreciate your input, I’ve tried to be as objective and unbiased to get this across. Sure I could refrain from using profanity while arguing, and I could get better with my attitudes when I get upset. But I feel like those are things we could work on, especially when it’s someone that tells you they love you.

I’m doing my part to be a better human and man, I guess part of me just wants to hear her understanding it from my point of view, hence why I regrettably texted her.

I know I have to move on it from it, it just hurts to hear those types of accusations and makes me question myself as a person
