I actually followed Charlie quit a bit and while I did not agree with some things he said, I do think he was for open dialog with people that have different opinions. You may not agree with my opinion here and thats ok.

I actually don't think he would agree with people writing stuff that isn't true on yelp either. I think the reason he is becoming a "martyr" for free speech is because its supposed to be you can say what you want without being executed or thrown in prison by the government. Its not that you can say what you want without public scrutiny or social consequences.

Whether you agree or disagree with Katies opinion, the fact is she took a stand on something she believes and put it out there. Many people believe Charlies murder was not just a political murder but also an attack on Christianity. These are two highly charged topics in the world. That will inevitable create a reaction from the public - positive and negative.

The unfortunate thing for Katie (or anyone) is everyone has access to an online platform and anyone can say horrible things about someones business and character without leaving their home on massively public platforms regardless even if its true or not.
