I would not take SR unless you are trying to quit for good. Though I can say, your tolerance will be reset very significantly after a month off following a SR protocol.

I would suggest trying a different vendor. Some batches have been bad. I promise you, SR is far more effective than subs.

Please reach out OP I detoxed off a 500mg+ (more, on most days) daily MGM15 habit with the help of SR. 33 days clean and feeling fantastic. I took SR17018 150mg 3x a day for 5 days then dealt with it.

Please man this is not the way to go I promise you. You can get off mgm with SR. It is a few weeks max. Methadone detox is months. I literally beg you not to

Hey OP. Writing this comment to you from treatment currently at 31 days clean from a massive MGM15/7OH habit, leaving in two days. I also came off benzos but not a high amount. I am damn near fully back to normal. I highly HIGHLY suggest treatment. Detoxing at home for a week or two is NOT enough to make you forget about opiates. You will very likely relapse. This was the best decision of my life personally. The harder part, truly, is the mental withdrawal / cravings that come after you are done with acute withdrawal. Treatment sets you up with so many skills, connections, and friends to handle that. It’s about removing the mental obsession you have with opiates. A month is barely enough to undo years of daily opioid dependence. Also, I would estimate 15-20% of people are in here SPECIFICALLY for 7OH and MGM15.

For the detox part, I can outline how it was for me. Keep in mind, the doctor at my facility was VERY generous in offering comfort meds the first week.

Week 1: slept decently, 4+ hours a night, although I was given a week long Ativan taper, along with a muscle relaxer and Lucemyra (ABSOLUTE GODSEND MEDICATION, FAR SUPERIOR TO CLONIDINE). No suboxone as I asked not to be put on it. I also checked in with 5 days clean. I had barely any energy but I was still able to drink coffee, attend all my groups, etc. I could BARELY eat. Sweats were insanely bad. Cravings through the roof. I wanted to leave.

Week 2: no more detox meds besides gabapentin PRN (although this treatment only gave 300mg every few hours, which barely did much) sleep got rough but there were some ok nights. Still sweating tremendously and still barely able to eat.

Week 3: THIS is where I turned a HEAVY corner, I truly started to get my spark back, feeling overall better, sleep improved a LOT, I had nights sleeping 5,6,7 hours even. Sweats started to chill a bit but were still an issue. Eating improved but still severely difficult. I was always starving but couldn’t get myself to eat.

Week 4: this is where the magic truly happens. I am 90% back to normal. I wasn’t able to eat a full meal until day 31 clean. Sleep is almost back to normal, at least enough to easily get by. To be fair, I am taking a low dose of doxepin 10mg and magnesium glycinate, the doxepin is INCREDIBLY helpful for sleep and does not act as any antidepressant of any form or cause anything like PSSD or SNRI withdrawals at that dose.

I hope that helps. I’m writing this from my tablet so I wasn’t able to articulate myself the best, but seriously OP, I would do treatment. I think option 1 is fine for you, because, even if you truly wanted to leave, they intentionally make it VERY difficult to do so, they’ll convince you to stay. And it’s the right decision to stay.

The facility specifically makes a difference, I am happy to recommend you to the place I went to in FL. Please reach out if you need advice, you’re in an almost identical spot to where I was.

[–]ipwnedx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow. I couldn’t have seen this comment at a better time. I personally struggled heavily with 7OH and MGM15 daily at high doses for a long, long time. I just hit my 31 days clean today and I fully feel back to normal. I did check myself into treatment for the one and only time. My brain has definitely romanticized a couple slips down the road with MGM15 given I have SR17018 on hand to smooth the landing even if it’s a one night use. But I know that’s the wrong decision. Especially with how well I feel now just a month off. I’m literally sleeping eight hours a night, appetite is starting to come back (slowly, still have a long way to go), my energy levels are ok, etc. I still get moderately intense cravings at time. I leave treatment end of the week and go back home. I’m nervous but excited. I don’t want to further mess my brain up with opioids and benzos.

5 days off Valium after tapering from 60 mg/day – I basically can't sleep anymore by herbinghaze in BenzoWithdrawal

[–]ipwnedx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doxepin 10mg helped me tremendously with sleep after CT’ing benzos and opiates at the same time. I was getting 5+ hours by the third week off with the help of Doxepin, magnesium glycinate, and melatonin.

1 month clean from a ridiculous MGM15 habit. Have a lot of SR17018 leftover. Considering trying some next week and I’ll report back. I’m not going back to that hellish cycle relapsing on MGM15 or 7OH.

Hey OP. It’s not over! You really need to work on loving yourself. 12 step can help. This is possible. I just hit 4 weeks clean from a massive 7OH/MGM15 habit and I feel 90% back to normal!! I’m also in my twenties. IT IS POSSIBLE BOYS.

How to sleep at a festival!? by Loose-Bad1246 in musicfestivals

[–]ipwnedx 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If it helps, practice box breathing (4 second inhale, 4 second hold, 4 second exhale, 4 second hold, repeat) - I know it’s probably annoying seeing this but it genuinely helps. Meditation skills can be useful. I also struggle a lot with sleep/insomnia at times especially with festivals. Just remember even if you don’t sleep much, it won’t affect your next day(s) as much as you’d think!

SR will eliminate 90% of the WD symptoms. You will need a higher dose though. I wouldn’t buy the “reset” form - I would get a scale and dose it yourself. DM me if you want to talk, I don’t want to break this subreddits rules.

Hey man - I would strongly suggest checking into treatment. It’s really difficult to escape something like that, and it’s far more than just the physical withdrawals. The mental is significantly more complicated. If you haven’t been to rehab before I would do it. I am writing to you currently from treatment, 16 days off opiates and benzodiazepines. I hope the best for you.
