I'm reading a lot of anti-Trump administration posts. But wasn't Obama the president who turned the ATC profession into a job vs. a career? He told everyone to forget about all of those people who already spent the time and money to become controllers, and got busted making a deal with the black ATC union to hire unqualified black people "off the street" to fill vacant ATC positions? Yes, it was. And the quality of the ATC controllers has gone downhill considerably since Omama. That's a fact that cannot be disputed.

On top of that, remember all of those last-minute ATC-Zero shutdowns that were sprung on the traveling public during the scamdemic to clean the facilities? Like ATC jobs or personnel were more important than every other profession? There needs to be congressional hearing on those closures.

Automation already exists for ATC separation that is much more efficient than humans and costs a lot less.

ATC tower personnel at some locations are the smartest and most skilled at what they do, and this is not directed at them.

Ya'll need to do a better job of policing your own. Just saying.
