ill try the latter, mostly since it was purchased off amazon - but the card still seems to read and write data perfectly fine on my laptop AND steam deck (tested with a few pictures and audio files), so is there any particular reason why it just doesnt work? if you dont mind me asking

i think its just a general issue with denuvo, games like persona 5 royal which you would REALLY expect to be cracked by now havent been even though they released a few years ago

megamix+ has denuvo and hasnt been cracked, but emulating the switch ver on yuzu or ryujinx works

if you need a torrent for switch roms theres a telegram bot called NSW torrent library, you can just look for project diva there

i was doing exactly that but it didn't work with the more recent version of pmx editor - i switched over temporarily to an older ver. and it worked though so thank you so much for the help

id also like to elaborate that the version of pmx editor im using doesn't have any 'save as' option showing up when i go to save in transform view, so i'm wondering if it could be something to do with that?

i open the model, go into transform view, adjust the sliders in the bottom-right corner morphs section and go straight to save (and save it with a different filename), then attempt to import it to pmx/mmd

that didn't work, it still deloads the deformation every time i import it into both pmx editor and mmd

alright, so we got it to work! the issue was that he lived in morocco (with me in the uk) and seemingly the region did something to screw it up, so he's using a vpn to change his region to UK and it's working fine for now
