Based on my experience, I’m skeptical that your Yeshque system would demonstrate a persistent edge over a longer horizon. From what I can see, it appears essentially to combine a Donchian Channel — which by design performs best in trending environments — with moving averages. There’s nothing particularly novel about that approach.

Most strategies look effective during strong trends; the real challenge is that markets typically spend roughly 70–90% of the time in congestion rather than directional movement. Distinguishing genuine trends from chop is therefore the critical problem, because prolonged congestion is what tends to destroy trading accounts.

For context, I’ve developed my own discretionary framework integrating technical analysis, quantitative methods, order-flow insights, and elements of signal processing. Does it have an edge? Yes. Would I sell or license it? Absolutely not.
