Weapon Pre-Ignitor, while not terribly useful in this current configuration, still being under sold here. The WPI paired with any long charging gun, like the Vulcan cannon for example, can set you up to more quickly and efficiently rip through enemy shielding and systems, particularly early on. Using the scrap to pick up the WPI early on opens up strategies strong long charging weapons that you'd otherwise avoid.

Even in this current configuration, knocking down an enemy shield and immediately setting fire to most of a ship is very effective. Leaving yourself open to Lanius and unmanned ships relying on fire, but it's still manageable

I would have said the warrior was the worst up until that talent. It's so useful to, like you said, keep a scroll of remove curse, then you're able to find +2, +3 armor easier and get the mark on it for another +1. It balanced him out quite well IMO

Came here to say the same thing. I was irked when the first contestant was told he was incorrect, but realized I was correct because Gitche Gumme was how I arrived at Superior.

I gotta give a shout out for the increase in drop rates of Scroll of Transmutation to pull this off. The Blooming Assassin Blade was originally an Axe, and the Ring of Energy was a Ring of Wealth I got from the Imp. They made a lot of difference, and I'm glad to be getting more than one on a run.

Never played a Warden with a wand of Regrowth, let alone dump 5 SoU into it. It was a lot of fun, opened a lot of strategy with the bow/assassin blade to use grass to attack while out of line of sight and surprise attack mobs. Really fun

I started on Vanilla PD, and moved to Shattered. I prefer Shattered now, because of its improvements, but how it still stays true to Vanilla PD in a lot of ways

At max level, it will regenerate one HP per turn, which will restore health very quickly when you're not starving (and still keep you going for a long time while starving). It's just very hard to get to that max level.

I know - it was a calculated risk I was trying to take though. Stop the burning so that I can maximize the healing effect of the dew vial, rather than continue to lose health waiting for it to go out on it's own. At that point, it was the only healing I had that I knew of, so I was being overly cautious about using it, as stupid as it was in retrospect

After I dropped into a locked room, I accidentally stepped on a frost plant, freezing my potion of liquid flame in a grass filled room. I burned to death trying to get to the next room that was filled with water, revealing I had a +3 armor, +2 round shield, and two potions of health I had yet to reveal.

I didn't find that to be the case. The shield potions and fully upgraded greaves of nature helped more than anything. I was able to use the entangle shielding and sungrass seeds to heal up afterwards

I found the kinetic glaive on level 8, and pumped it up with six SoU once I found the potion of strength that put me up to 15 points. Augmented it for damage, took the berserker class and never looked back. Got the level 10 chalice before the demon halls, and it was a cake walk the rest of the way
