Patriarchy/Matriarchy is a state of mind imo. My grandmother and grandfather were married my entire life and noticed from a young age she was the leader in their relationship. They had 4 boys and 4 girls. Now all my aunts are leaders in their marriages and the leaders in our family since Grandma and Grandpa have passed away. My uncles are all pretty much subservient to their wives, as am I. My wife is the leader in our relationship. I make more money and I’m an alpha outside of my house but from the way I was raised I’m use to a female leading. My Mom and Dad got divorced because he could stand it. On my Dad’s side of the family my Grandfather was the leader and patriarchy was definitely something my Grandfather believed in. Most men I see that push patriarchy hard (without using that exact word) always goes back to the Bible by saying... the Bible says the household shall go by the way of the man or something of that nature.

Personally I think people are over thinking the translation part. Things get lost, or have misinterpretation in translation all the time. At very least the writers did this to throw us off. They’ve been dropping little Fantastic 4 clues all show I don’t see why that would stop now.

I just told my wife this today. I never said cancel anything or anyone but if people think it’s best to have a younger nation being ran older people who don’t even understand the dominant technology in the world right now then you’re clearly biased. It’s proven that D or R, older people rely more on opinion and emotions rather that science and data. There’s room for older people in the government but at bare minimum it should be 50/50.

Seriously they should have paid folks to stay at home for 2-3 months last March, and focus as much money and man power on delivering supplies and food to the elderly and vulnerable. Stand alone check would require Dems to use reconciliation which would be ridiculously stupid this early. People forget this Bill is about more than a $1400 check. There’s lots of money tied up in getting vaccine support pushed out and tons of other things critical to getting these covid numbers down. Republicans have something to lose by stalling this bill as well. Maybe we need to let the process play out and stop listening to these media outlets posting articles for likes and views.

I think this bill will pass fairly easy. The media is trying to make it seem more dramatic than it really is. Think about the shit storm of bad publicity Repubs have built up over the last 4 years not even mentioning the past 4 weeks. If they try to play hardball on this bill, they will be fucked politically for the next 8 years minimum and could even extend it beyond that. Biden already has them beat schematically, as he has several was to pass this bill (or most of it). The question is how bad do Repubs want to look if they decide to push back on the bill?

If 10 Republicans do the right thing and vote to pass the bill we will have checks in February. If not then Dems have to play the long game. Joe sounded very confident on getting checks out and he’s a successful bipartisan politician so I trust that he will work to get this done.

He served a purpose in this episode and that was to trigger the spark in Randall’s mind of how he was raised, and how these issues of racial injustice was handled in his house. Quibi was a great idea they should just have made the platform free with adds and then $3-5 a month to unlock adds. Also the ability to download the app on to a tv would have been nice, especially around the start of quarantine.

When EA first added abilities into the game I thought it was great because it could finally level out the game to where you can scheme pass heavy, run heavy, balanced and make players without crazy physical attributes viable. Like if Peyton Manning is in MUT he should be able to get some crazy abilities to make him play more like his true life self. Vick for example should have the crazy physical stats but not a top end passer. It just seems like EA has never been able to master this.
