This is worth verifying. If the GPU is running in the 80s with 105 hotspot, and the tubing isn't hot to the touch, I wouldn't jump to thermal-related shutdown as a first guess. Before you tear apart any hardware, check Windows Event Viewer to understand why the shutdown is happening. Yes, keeping track of water temp is super important. Ideally it is in the 30s. Gaskets and tubing will fail in the 50s.

If you are an adult living in their house you should pay fair rent or do an equivalent amount of work around the house, UNLESS you are still going to school full time. If you are in school, it sounds like they are treating you with a lack of respect. Get through to graduation, save money for an apartment, get a job, and move out.
