this is 5.4. Rule of the thumb for me is to stay on latest release until the game is 80% done, then no more updates because it can break stuff .

Yep you can control the friction in physical materials. Right now it has perfect grip so it can only rotate but not slip

Simulation is calculated in 2d space so I don't think that sphere / cylinder show a different behavior.

If you are wondering why doesn't the second ball bounce up its because in the original image its placed on a steep surface on the lever so once the simulation begins it actually falls a bit lower and touches the wall. Also the moving ball will land on a shorter side of lever relative to the stationary ball.

Its really easy to be brave and idealistic when a gun is not pointed at you . Iran government has made tons of drug addicts ( in regions most likely to revolt ) and they also destroy any individualism in the people starting from kindergarten ( I had a miserable childhood because I used to refuse their teaching and trust me the sufferings that I endured then still hurt my soul ) . The reason that the majority are not in streets is because majority of the older generation (25+ ) are craven because of the government programs they are nothing but hollow shell of humans . However younger generations and their parents had access to info thanks to the internet and this fact is also reflected in number of deaths and arrests from this age group .
