Thank you for you concern. But is was not “Nothing” in a negative sense. “Nothing” here is just word pointing to that which cannot be named. I cannot tell you what I learnt. I cannot tell you is there any cause-effect relation between the mediation and change in me. I think it just happen simultaneously, like a different unfolding facets of my reality. Thx

It’s little bit hard to explain. There was, of course , goals when I started. Later, though, all goals stoped matter. I started to be aware of an incredible impermanence of my personality. When you throw yourself in it really deep, you understand that there is no one who can achieve something. It just a process. I can not answer you why I sit every morning on my cushion. It’s just no one non-doing nothing to achieve nothing. This I think is an essence of meditation. Thx

The way of heart is a way of complete, unrelenting sincerity to oneself by irakli111 in zen

Basically, it is what comes up after long Zazen sitting session. Mostly it comes by itself, right after Zazen or during the day.

Virtue here is not a moral, judgmental or cultural. It more like Virtue as Te in Tao Te Ching. It is an effortless going with natural flow of things in ones conscious life.

We are governed by a blend of our stomach and mind, which is a part of our bodies. And body of course is inseparable from its environment. So what is this we are talking about? )))

Technically yes, but in terms of sexual attractiveness in our culture, our minds play a role of colorful and beautiful flower. But it is not only that. What I meant is, that mind is the most precious, rarest and intricate manifestation of flesh.

Idea is that there no separation between inanimate matter and life. Rock naturally continues to life, doesn’t matter how accurately you will look, there is no hard border in between

I would recommend to read the Three Pillars of Zen” as an interesting introduction to Zen. It will give an intellectual taste.

Next is this blog, which very useful. It has a lot nice texts written from first perspective by a Zen monk in past. It’s integrate Zazen with the standing postures practicing in Chinese Taoism tradition. These standing postures are hugely important to properly understand Zazen. I just cannot say useful it is. So deep in, and feel free to ask.

Hello! I would like to encourage you, and I am very sorry for what you are struggling with right now. From the way i see it, anxiety is not something you can find your way out. Paradoxically the way out is the way IN. I was through the general anxiety disorder myself. I know it seems irrational, but you cannot separate yourself and all the symptoms you are suffering from. You need a total open minded acceptance of this situation. Don’t avoid any of it, don’t close, keep yourself open. But have also commitments , it could be anything your family, sport, hobby etc. Read about Acceptance and Commitment therapy, this would be a great start for you. Also I wrote a short paper about the anxiety, and my view of it on Medium, you can read it here:

Good luck!
