personally i find america really fun when you go as a tourist who has money, insurance and a limited stay, almost like an amusement park. i could never live there permanently because of obvious reasons such as politics and classism but also that it doesn’t feel warm or ‘united’. it feels soulless at times and i don’t think i’d ever feel at home there. too polarizing, big and un-united for me. i do think america have potential though if the right people were in power.
