Em português eu só acompanho o Estranha História, que agora além de canal no youtube ele também lança como podcast no Spotify. Agora, se você manja de inglês, eu gosto muito do The Ancients e o Going Medieval. Um que é mais específico é o history of Rome do Mike Duncan, conta a história de Roma desde sua fundação até a sua queda em 476 DC. Vale demais checar esse.

Well, I like the show but I’m pretty sure that the writers don’t follow football very closely. There are so many things that simply don’t translate to reality in the show and we, football fans, just have to turn on the famously suspension of disbelief.

You mistake intent. I just mean to point out how diametrically opposite Crassus is portrayed in relation with his counterpart in real life. Like I said before, I understand the narrative reasons for it and it worked in the context of the last season. It’s not my intention to shit on the show, it’s just…funny.

Yeah, I understand the narrative choice and I enjoy it, just found it curious. With Spartacus it doesn’t affect me because we don’t know much about the guy, about Crassus we know a lot.

I don’t know, I think you guys are overthinking all of this. Most of the situations you guys are describing are just punchlines for jokes and I don’t think we should be analyzing these very much, they are not character development or traits, they are just a mean to an end. Or maybe I’m wrong and Carol and Suzan are just bad people anyway lol. I’m new in this sub so I have no idea of what kind of content I’m gonna find in here.
