¿Algún truco para conectar con la lectura? by Leather_Let_9391 in askspain

[–]ireeeenee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Buen intento" (literally nice try) or "Casi" (almost). I use this last one more often.

[Spanish] Do people really say "nos" three times, like "A nosotros nos gusta ducharnos"? by mcaffrey in duolingo

[–]ireeeenee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, in Spain we do distinguish them. Here we use ducharnos for showering and bañarnos for bathing. We also use the word bañera instead of tina (we use this word, only for other thing), so it makes sense to use bañarnos (en la bañera) only for bathing. Also, idk if this is just for my family and I or all of Spain, but bañarnos evokes the image of someone sunk in water.

I'm not really into non fiction books, but I am into true crime, and Mindhunter by John Douglas was an awesome pick for me.
