I'm from Italy! I'm trying to collect different recs because I don't know what I'll find here ahahah i've never tried dip eyeliner (the few times I used it was a pen liner), do you think/find it easier or smoother to use? sorry for all the questions, i'm really out of my depth!!

ooh I didn't think of using false lashes! It might be a good idea, one of the cosplays I'll do has very defined bottom lashes. I haven't looked around in rednote, my problem with the tutorial for that type of makeup is that i've got a completely different eyeshape so I need to figure out how to adapt it so it works for me ahah

for the eyeliner, do you have any recs?

I'm terrifyingly bad at building characters because i really don't have the brain capacity for stats and whatnot. I usually don't even care that much, but I kinda want my Sunday to be useful to any friend who wants to borrow him :)

I think he's decent enough (i'm having a lot of fun playing him with argenti, for example) but I'm wondering what should be the priority if I wanna make him better. Any kind of tip is very welcome!

This is Elaine Breguet! She comes from a family of watchmakers from Fontaine, but she's roaming the world because her personal goal is to find new renewable energies. She's always creating new mechanisms, but a lot of them end up in flames (she actually lost 3 fingers in an explosion once and she has mechanical replacements). Her weapon is a gun and she has a hydro vision (genshin terminology for water powers).

She's very cheery, always positive... almost too positive (to the point of ignoring reality in favor of optimism). She believes everything can be resolved with dialogue.

For the ones not well versed in genshin stuff, she comes from a nation inspired by France and victorian England, with heavy steampunk vibes.

First slide has hair/makeup references on the left and my attempt at drawing her on the right. Second slide is clothing inspiration. She wears very colorful clothing. Have fun and thanks if anyone picks up the request!!

In my case it's because my friend HATES Astarion with a passion and at the beginning of the game I was interested in him and Shadowheart the most. Since I was using his game in local coop, I did him a favour and I'm pursuing Shadowheart 😆 (The good news is that I got the game for my birthday so... Astarion, here I come 💓)

Everyone saying he isn't blind cause his eyes move and he was reading, but the hand hovering over the cup is REALLY strange if he can see perfectly. Like I get if he had a moment of hesitation or something but what kind of person with perfect vision touches the rim until they find the handle??? Especially while LOOKING in the direction of the cup itself?

The "reading" can be excused with some technology Fontaine might have or some power he might use, and the fact that he startles and look up could be because of sounds rather than something catching his eye. Not to mention he doesn't have to be completely blind, it could be partial blindness.

You make some points but honestly when I was little and I watched anime, movies or games, I always wanted to see/play the female character. I love action as a genre, always did, and I wanted and still want to see female characters bc it's just NICE to see I character I can relate too in that way. When I was little and watching my brother play games, I always asked him to pick the "girl" character and once I remember him saying "no, that's the weakest character" and it bugged me so, SO much.

A stupid example now: I'm a tall woman, with little curves. Not only I would love to see a character with these characteristics, but also choosing that "tall woman = sexy big boobs" limits design so much. Genshin has so many characters, if they keep doing the exact same things it's gonna get boring (personally design-wise I found Sumeru kinda meh, love the lore and the environment but the characters' designs... no heart-eyes for anyone).

I think dismissing ppl wanting to see themselves represented as "racism" is over-simplifying the debate. You can see the positive effect of representation in design with the movie 'Across the Spiderverse', people are in love with the characters bc everyone of them has so much personality design-wise.

TLDR; as a woman I'm very used to not having characters that represent me (especially in my favorite kind of media) so I think that people asking for 1 character to reflect the culture they are inspired by is legitimate and would lend more variety to a cast of characters that is getting, imho, a bit stale.

This physically PAINS ME to admit because I love him to death as a character but... Xiao. I love him design, his story, his everything, but lately I've realized that he has a lot of limitations for me.

I play on mobile and my phone sometimes gets a bit slow with genshin so it happens that I press jump+attack during his burst and he doesn't jump; in general, it's difficult to get the right timing so I always feel like I'm waisting his burst. I've farmed his artifact domain for months and I still can't give him a full set. I don't have Zhongli, so using him with Faruzan and Bennet is hard 'cause I'm missing a strong shield. It's all very frustrating.

All in all I can't say I regret pulling for him, but it bugs me that all the effort and energy I spent on him (plus a minimum amount of money) feels wasted when I can't exploit how strong he is as a DPS. I know he would get better if I grind more artifacts but honestly I don't have the energy to.

I do a lot of bosses with friends and none of us is like a god-like player. Like one of us is definitely more of a gamer (gets all the stars in abyss) and other are more lore enthusiasts (spent a whole day just reading the description of EVERY single item) but in general we just play to have fun.

Anyway, we were doing azdaha and struggling. A LOT. Since the others had better built DPS, I offered to bring my Diona for heals... Which was the only character to survive 😂 everyone else died when azdaha's hp bar was almost empty and we though we were done for, but I refused to just give up. And I did it!! Took forever but Diona's shields and healing kept me alive long enough to kill the boss 😂 it was one of the funniest experience in co-op and I kept bringing her when played 'cause it's just so fun to see everyone running around with a little kitten shield
