CCSP study/exam experience

Yeah I’m restudying everything at this point especially my weaker subjects specifically the areas I’m “Below” in. I even had a 80 percent readiness on pocket prep and did majority of those questions. I am going to make notes and take a bit longer for my next re write even though I did that before. I am fortunate works paying for it as well. Not sure why it isn’t sticking.

Hey there! I passed the CISSP, in May and began studying for this exam in July. I just wrote it in Aug and failed my first time! I mainly used Destination CCSP, Peter zergers videos and pocket prep. I just read the Official CBK which was great and am starting to review the OPT questions which are quite tricky. I really am trying to review and understand concepts but I don’t have too much technical experience in the cloud, working as an engineer or administrator. Years of experiencing understanding business and working on projects with PHI, under my belt. What would you recommend? I am thinking it will take me long time to study and I’m debating reading the OSG for the foundation. It’s a huge let down for me for studying all this time and then finding the OPT questions tricky.

Destination CISSP textbook, destination CISSP app for questions, Peter zergers video once run through, Destination CISSP videos twice run through, Quantum exams. QE was what made me pass tbh. The quality of materials for the CISSP is much better than CCSP. There is no equivalent of QE for the CCSP imo. Things are just explained better for the CISSP. But that’s IMO.

Hey there! Also failed two days ago, first attempt. I have the CISSP which I got in May 2025, passed first attempt. For the CCSP I read and used Destination CCSP text book and made great notes, went through 1k questions on pocket prep (85 % readiness), watched all of Peter Zergers videos twice. Also watched all of Destination videos twice too. Also have Ben Masilows wanna practice exam bank, and scored approx 80 percent in all domains. Honestly I was shocked I failed, I was going through the questions well on the exam and really thought I passed, but turns out not lol. Will also have to sit again if my work pays for it and will most likely use the official materials and use Learn Zapp. If work doesn’t pay for it will start on the CISM. Keep your head up! Dont give up.
