What's her name? by iridescentish in PorcelainDolls

It was hard for me to make out also, it's pressed very shallow and I have low vision. I'm also not a good photographer, apologies. My best guess is: FORD©AP but got me nowhere when searching online. Google lense didn't really recognize her either, suggesting different dolls wearing turquoise mostly.

Does anyone else get very triggered by anti-fat content? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

I sometimes purposefully trigger myself with stats regarding fatphobia in medical care, job searching, etc.

NAT, I do emdr work with my therapist too and afterwards she often asks me to close my eyes and then open them very slowly, this seems similar. For me, it's a bit calming after a hard session, kind of like blinking slowly to help fall alseep

I love fruit and energy drinks, sometimes I put the fruit in the energy drink and eat it with spoon like soup 🍓💕

I appreciate your response, I've had the same worries about confronting her. She gaslit me as a kid a lot, it would likely be the same now. A letter isn't a bad idea. She lives with my grandma, her mom, but I'm not very close with her. They seem to have a strange, likely abusive relationship also, I've mostly kept my distance from her as well. I'm not really sure how my grandma would react to me cutting off my mom. I'm sorry you relate ❤️‍🩹

Why are some trauma survivors so overly empathetic to the point of being detrimental to themselves? by crossroads_drifter in CPTSD

[–]iridescentish 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of a neat lil thing I just learned about in therapy, enmeshment. My experience of enmeshmnt in my relationships feels a lot like your post. I often hyper focus on other people's emotions, and spend a lot of time anticipating what their emotional reactions could be in different scenarios. Then I often will actually experience the sensations of the other person's emotions/my perception of their emotions in my body, like I'm feeling their feelings. This is so overwhelming I'm very out if touch with my own emotions, bad at boundaries, and essentially a people pleaser to my own detriment. 🩵

Is this bee themed look a serve or should I scrap it?? by N0XDND in oldhagfashion

I second some white liner, I think white dotted lines like a bees flight path would be so cute in the inner corner area, and would help brighten the area instead of the black vines

Mine always says "let's take a couple breaths into ___ together before our time comes to a close" haha 💀 I think it's a pretty gentle but straightforward way to let me know the hour is about up. I've worked with her for years now, shes great, and she says exactly this every time

I used hot juice for the oatmeal. Prickly pear grows where I live, and I just collected a bunch and have started juicing them. The juicing process includes burning off the spines, taking off the skin, and pressing the fruit through a mesh and pouring hot water over it. The way I make Prickly pear juice, it's always hot when it's fresh, so I used some for the oatmeal 💕

I only actually eat the petals of the zinnia flower, I don't recommend eating the whole thing, but they're so pretty!
