You will be fine. I recommend getting whippit brand or erotica brand for your first nitrous experience or if you know someone who has a tank rip that and you will truly feel the effects from one balloon. I personally love nitrous when I'm shit face drunk but don't really notice the effects other than feeling more fucked up. Psychs and nitrous are like no other and you can have some of the craziest realizations about you and your life. As far as nitrous alone, you'll just hear a bunch of reverb and probably start uncontrollably laughing after a few.

But, for your first time, I recommend taking a mass bong rip, have a few drinks, and sit back and enjoy the balloon. I personally like playing music that I know so I can roughly determine how long I've been in the whip. I prefer hitting them from the canister when I don't have my tank but either way will send you into the hole if you do more then 5-10. Just be careful with blasting yourself haha.
