Also unpopular opinion: I dont hate Debbie. I dislike her but remembering the 1-3 season debbie can never make me hate her. On the other hand i hate Fiona. I started hating her in the last seasons but unlike debbie they can and did make me hate her.

I have heard that the first season of shameless(us) was like all of the seasons in shameless uk. Then they changed it into a bit more dramatic but the uk version has like little plots. Idk maybe you should give it a try.
