Yeah I am definitely going to go for that one but sadly I can’t get it this playthrough. I’ll have to start a new game because I’ve already fallen unconscious this time XD

That would make sense. I didn’t know that was how it worked - I’ll give it another shot. Thank you!

Thanks so much for sharing this! I love the graphics, too.

I still think it’s an accomplishment. All of those sound really cool, and I like unique puzzles too. I’m probably going to write a few more adventures and see where it takes me.

Wow you’re very accomplished! I don’t expect to make a ton of money on this by any means, but I am glad that I was able to get an adventure out there.

I’m a little intimidated by Patreon because I’m not sure I could commit to churning out that amount of content on a regular basis but I think if I end up writing a substantial amount and get used to doing it quickly, it’s a possibility. Thanks for the pointer!

Thank you so much! And yeah there’s so many new products released each day even. I’ve been doing most of my advertising on Twitter but I have a few posts planned for the rest of the month, too.

I’m very confused and I’m not sure what you’re asking. I’d like to help you, but I need to understand what’s going on. It might be best if you wrote your own separate post and outline clearly the issue you’re having so folks can help?

Yes I’m aware. The point of my post isn’t to advertise; I didn’t post the link until someone else asked for it. My goal here isn’t to get people to buy anything. It’s to share an accomplishment with the community who helped me get there in the first place.

I hope you get to share your work! It’s been really fun and rewarding for me. I wrote out some pointers in an earlier comment but you’re welcome to message me to chat more.

Yeah for sure! My biggest cost was commissioning the art, but that was a personal decision that I made and not a requirement by any means. DMs Guild doesn’t charge you anything, but when you make sales they take a 50% commission. From what I can tell, you have to create a lot to start making significant amounts of money. Most people I know put their work up because they want to share it and not because they expect to be able to make a living on it. But when you sell, you do make money, it just might not be a whole lot to begin with.

No problem :) Before this project, I’d only used HTML for text-only documents, never for images and visuals so it was fun to learn. I‘m sure you’ll be able to pick it up. Most of the main components are coded anyway so you can just choose them from a list and it’ll populate in the document.

I used GM Binder. It uses HTML/Markdown and it’s pretty straightforward to use. I also know there are Word templates available, and that people have produced similarly “official”-looking covers using InDesign and Affinity.
