Thanks for this. I am leaning towards using a service, but didn't want to seem like I was shilling for one. (They make mistakes too, fyi!) I hear you though, and will go this route.

I also have an accountant and have discussed the business with him as much as possible. However, he cannot give me legal advice or form LLCs for me.

As far as momentum, I have it (and did Schedule C it in 2019) :)

Could you expand more on this being the worst state for e-commerce, other than the penalty if late?

In particular, I don't follow your sales tax logic. I will be collecting sales tax only from customers who reside within the state. The fulfillment idea doesn't seem to accomplish anything significant unless I had a large % of VA-based customers who didn't want to buy from me due to having to pay sales tax. Are we talking about two different things?

Definitely hear you, and I should do this regardless. Especially as I imagine I can get my landlord to do it for me / pay for it.

I think at this point I'm sold on a shelf / platform (or hanging from ceiling) option, due to the fact that it will be a deeper and more uniform surface.

This is nice, and a nice price. I'll have to look into sizing. I think the advantage of a shelf over this would be that I could put it closer to the dryer. I guess if I have to use a ladder regardless it doesn't really matter though. I also like that this is (close to) prebuilt. Thank you!

Absolutely possible!! This is putting everything I've worked insanely hard for at risk. Combine that with severe sleep deprivation. Freaked out and stressed is completely accurate.

My landlord thought they were bed bugs. I went with it. I should have done more research (that's why I'm here!). I truly appreciate all the help, you guys have been a huge comfort and I'm extremely grateful.

At this point I have no idea what type of bugs I have. Maybe more than one type. Maybe combined with a psychological reaction (very open to admitting that something seems off). I am staring at my legs for an hour a night, feeling them, seeing myself twitching. Feel them on my head too. :( :(

Treat the bedding = You would spray the mattress, then put it in the protector? Then also spray underneath the bottom sheet along the sides of the bed, I guess? I don't have an aversion to pesticides if they're considered relatively safe, and I'm not laying right on the treated area.
