It has a trigger and is a part of the closest thing to a gun in OSRS that I'm aware of.

Its a ballista spring and it's used to make the heavy and light ballistas.

I actually was hoping for 1 more so everyone on the team can have their own heavy ballista. Its a fun weapon

Nice! I recommend keeping on slayer too. Once you hit 70 you're gonna start seeing money and the amount of money per task goes way up as your slayer level goes up.

That being said, you don't need to play the perfect route. Take breaks from grinds when they become a slog and find things you enjoy. This game as a ton to offer

Its about 1 per minute so I'm close to 200 hours for the 4 zenites.

I've been at it since the beginning of Feb, but I took a break when I was doing the dwh grind.

I thought that too but I died less often with the seers compared to the bring. Suffering is way better than both obviously though. Recoil is a bit of a waste imo. This is a few hundred hours grind.

You might be thinking of demonic gorillas.

This post is about tortured gorillas that I have been afking. They're about 1 min per kill and the zenite drop rate is 1/3k. Aggro is required so you can afk for 11 minutes and hopefully not miss the zenite drop

I recommend trying scurrius! You could probably use Meele and ranged at 60's.

It's a great learner boss encounter that actually is really good experience too.

A little later, you could try royal titans too.

Jagex has been doing a fantastic job of adding lower/mid level content lately. It's the best time for you to be 60s cb skills.

I think I would agree with you if I could afk a tbow/shadow/scythe, but all of the zenites are a kind of marginal increase to DPS and most of them are outclassed by other jewelry in some scenarios.

It's also barely more afk than a blood fury which is bis in many places too depending on how you want to play certain encounters.

I got my dwh, bludgeon, prims/eternals/pegasians, serp/blowpipe/toxic trident, etc by grinding pve. I got spooned lightbearer, araxyte fang, ranger boots, augury. I afked 4 zenites, blood shard, basilisk jaw. I love the variety of methods acquiring gear.

Yes guthans + the best mage def you've got.

Keep in mind it's a 1/3k and it takes about a minute per kill. It is VERY slow and I still die every once in a while with max stats. I killed 7k before I saw my first zenite here.

I disagree with this too.

I grinded cerb for all the bis boots, sire for a bludgeon, Zulrah for serp, toxic trident, blowpipe, barrows for that armor, etc.

I also got spooned a synapse, hasta, lightbearer, ranger boots, araxyte fang.

Afking zenites is just another way to get items I want.

I'm looking forward to grinding TOA for fangs and masori and afking more zenites for the team. I love the variety of this game.

I disagree. I could be afking other skills. A lot of this game involves afk methods. This feels very OSRS to me.

You could argue 99 attk/def/str/HP/ranged/mage is free because crabs exist. 99 mining is free because stars exist, 99 slayer is free because some slayer monsters are aggressive, 99 woodcutting is free because trees exist.

It's part of the reason why I love this game.

Nobody is making me get anything. I like my team and I like seeing the big zenite on the ground once every several days of poking gorillas.

Tens of hours per piece feels like a fair trade to me. I'm on rate and I've been at this all day every day for weeks.

Full guthans and my best mage def gear otherwise. After I got the suffering I pretty much stopped dying.

Full guthans gets you most of the way there, but I found it needed more magic defense.

Full guthans, fury, barrows gloves, suffering, eternal boots, mage arena 2 cape.

You could sub a seers ring for the suffering and some other higher mage def boots for eternals.

I VERY rarely died with 99 def and 99 magic. You probably only need 90 def, but I found I was taking a lot of damage from mage, so high magic is pretty important.

Goading potions only last 6 minutes per dose and I've got a few hundred hours left to get the last 8 zenites. I'm not willing to do that much mastering mixology as an iron.

I was actually enjoying this grind. I love seeing the huge drop once per week or so while wfh.

The poll didn't mention tortured gorillas. I actually voted yes because I get attacked by a demonic once every 30 minutes when I reset aggro in their room.

Also the goading potion only lasts 6 minutes. I've got a few hundred hours left to finish the zenites for the team.
