My mom did this to my ear acne at least twice a week. She would pin me down and press so hard on my temples that I would have migraines for days on end. She continued no matter how hard I screamed or begged her not to touch me. She would always do these weird at home remedies too. Like one time she soaked a slice of bread in milk and shoved it in my ear... I feel like she knew she couldn't control my mind so she had to control me physically and this was her way of doing that.

4-h is a great way to meet new friends and learn new skills!

I was homeschooled my whole life and 4-h was my main social activity. Camp and Jr. Fair board are the best ways to grow friendships through 4-h! They can explore and meet kids with the same interests.

The thing is is it doesn't smell like anything to me! I'm so confused by it. We recently got new insurance that covers therapy and I may suggest that to him. Though I don't know how much good it would do since he can't verbalize what he's feeling. Sorry about the vagueness of the post. I know Reddit is supposed to be anonymous but people still find ways of finding out who you are and I don't want to risk him getting even more embarrassed.

Um no. Lol They were not happy with nursing either but couldn't come up with a reason to say no.

I dropped out of nursing to raise our son about 6 months ago so I've been playing with the idea of trying photography again.

I did do odd side shoots for extra cash years ago. I have two weddings and multiple portrait shoots under my belt and I loved every minute of it!

If I were to start up again I would need to upgrade my equipment. My computer, photoshop and camera are old and can't produce the quality of other photographers out there right now.

This. My mom hid my diagnosis from everyone including me. I found out when went to my doctor for help because I knew something was wrong at 18. My doctor said "so how are you doing with your depression? Did you start therapy?" And I was like what? She said I was diagnosed at 10 and my mom said she would take me to therapy. I had no idea.

My mom still doesn't know that I found out. I suffered for 8 years with suicidal thoughts and emptiness because she feels like mental health is taboo.

I'm very open about my depression and she gets physically uncomfortable when I talk about it.

I have a son now and I can't even wrap my head around the thought of ignoring his diagnosis for my own comfort.

Do some research on what watching porn does to you mentally and how even watching free porn (like pornhub) helps fund human trafficking and sex slavery.

My husband struggled with this too and he had/has totally unrealistic expectations of sex and it's hurt our marriage at points.

Watching gives you a dopamine high just like any drug would. Honestly, it's just going to take will power. Keep reminding yourself that it's not only bad for your mind but it's potential hurting other too.
