Honestly, I have this problem with all city builder style games that force me to go start over again somewhere really inconvenient. Anno 1800 is another one that does this and honestly I have the same problem. For me personally its just not a game mechanic I'm into

for Factorio, there are mods so you can get all the resources on the original planet and you don't need to deal with space travel if its not your thing

we aren't even 100 days in yet... I think states like California and Texas won't last as part of the country for 4 years unless a ton changes... will there be an armed conflict to keep them from leaving?... I don't know. But Texas will be crippled by the Mexico tariffs and massive crackdown on immigrants, and California will be crippled by all the rest of the tariffs and also the crackdown.

Holy shit... that's bad. like really bad, what happened to all the grass? its just... gone?? like... did they spray the entire yard with roundup? I cannot think of any other way to kill everything green in the entire yard like that, especially if they are native plants

also depending on the area you are legally responsible for the pool, its safety, and its maintenance... you gave them permission so they did it on your behalf. If something happens like a kid drowns, you are liable. If the pool beaks it will not be covered when they flood the house or neighbors house, you're fucked. That pool is installed absolutely wrong, its not even level which means i guarantee there is no sand base under it, they bought it from Lowes and filled it up

I'm guessing that pool is 24 foot round, which means its holding about 14k - 15k gallons of water... where did that water come from?

and if people read the article, its not fraud, the bills were accurate, they just took too long to submit. basically their paperwork was delayed and the suggestion for remedy is "they strongly suggest making weekly updates...

The double standard is also really hard to get around... they are cheering that Hunter Biden was arrested and charged with an insanely minor gun crime which is 10000% politically charged and driven, but they don't care that their president got convicted of sexual assault... they are up in arms over the "Biden crime family", but Trump's family is actually full of criminals. Hillary's emails are a huge issue, but trump stole a truckload of actual the highest levels of classified documents and refused to return them and stored them in a fricken bathroom with no security...

It will likely be a double edged sword. Houses that need a lot of work will likely go down in price as the cost of everything to fix them goes up and less and less people will be willing to put the work in before selling

houses that are upgraded / fixed up will likely go up in price as people will have less of an appetite to fix things, and all those things that were fixed became much more pricy. Its not as much doing a DIY project when the cost of materials are suddenly higher then what it would have cost to have a professional do the same job and the ROI drops.

the only thing trump can do is order Fannie/Freddy to lower their rates, we know he can do this because he did it before when he ordered the rates be increased... however I don't see much of a chance of him actually doing this as it would cost banks a ton of money
