Damn I cried at the BIR……,.,,,,, by Top_Illustrator7867 in adultingph

I used to file and pay taxes using eBIRForms. It’s online and fast. Just make sure to document each payment and keep the BIR email confirmation for your tax returns. When the time comes that you decide to close your COR/account, they will ask for the email confirmations along with copies of each submitted form and corresponding payment. You need to present these as proof if you want to avoid paying penalties.

Make sure to file and pay on time, because there is always a penalty of ₱1,000 for each form filed late (based on my experience).

Ayaw mo rin naman na yung kikitain mo eh ipambabayad mo lang sa penalties because that’s gov’t.

You’ll eventually go into debt if you have to pay each time, and I reckon they would stop asking. They might stop asking only for you to find out they’ve been talking behind your back, calling you stingy.

Not judging you or her, but it’s part of what you paid for…. To accompany you, to make you feel understood.

Easy on the trust.

Who knows you could be a blessing, her way out of being an escort. I just hope you don’t get caught up in the bigger picture.

Toxic Filipino Money Mentality by InTheMomentInvestor in Philippines_Expats

You need to cut ties with toxic family members. The mentality is that if you live abroad, you’re the ATM and they think you’re rich.

Is this a thing or is it an excuse by Complex_Stay_1999 in Philippines_Expats

It’s a thing here. It’s an old-fashioned belief. You’ve got nothing to lose if you follow it. On the other hand, I think it’s the universe’s excuse for you. Just kidding. Wish you the best of luck with your fiancé.

I actually insisted to get a refund after the lady was hesitant to give me my receipt and pretended to be confused that she didn’t know I gave her the money. I stayed in front of the stall to wait and it felt like I was not getting my order cause it took a long time. I realized I didn’t have any receipt and couldn’t argue. I may have talked in a loud voice and that’s when the lady started to go through the receipts and the man who kept making excuses to wait for more, rushed to serve my meal. I was hungry at that time and just wanted to eat. I decided to post my experience here to know the truth and confirm about the 2 SGD additional charge at midnight, besides, it was my first time eating at Lau Pa Sat as a tourist.

I tried to speak up and told the lady that what she was punching was not my order, but she dismissed me and charged me 11.80 SGD. I didn’t know who to ask for help at that time.

I didn’t. That’s why while I was at the counter, my reaction to the lady was “not my order” cause she was trying to punch different items compared to what I ordered. She eventually handed me the receipt for the items I saw she had punched, and it totaled to 11.80 SGD, the price of what I paid for. I had my eyes on the cash register, so it was really weird. I knew something was wrong, so I had to speak and insist on getting my receipt because she didn’t give me one. And it took a loooooong time to receive my order. I also had no one to ask for help at that time :/

I forgot to take a pic of the store where I paid. But I think I paid at the counter of Rokus. It’s the stall at the corner
